Our production team is the backbone of our operation, and we're looking to add a skilled Maintenance Technicial to help keep our candy-making machines running smoothly and efficiently.

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our manufacturing facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about maintaining mechanical systems, troubleshooting issues efficiently, and supporting a safe working environment through reliable maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen appliances.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize operational disruption.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Repair or replace faulty components in mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment to minimize downtime.
• Install new appliances and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Replace or repair machine parts such as belts, valves, bearings, motors and sensors.
• Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or parts transportation when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure equipment needs and priorities are met.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, operations (MRO), and equipment repair procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in hot or cold environments as needed.

Schedule: Full-time Day Shift. May require occasional weekends or extended hours during peak seasons.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
