Job Description

The Maintenance Technician performs a wide variety of machine, grounds, and facility repairs, as well as preventative maintenance tasks. This position works closely with the Maintenance Team and Supervisor to maintain machinery, equipment, and building operations at an optimal level, with a strong focus on safety. The technician must be flexible and available for emergency, weekend, and after-hours repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Safety-First mindset and follow all company safety practices and procedures.
• Identify, report, and address safety hazards in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure all work is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently.
• Perform scheduled and routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform basic plumbing troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist with machinery moves, equipment installations, and related projects.
• Perform basic metal and wood fabrication and assembly.
• Perform basic painting, staining, and facility striping.
• Communicate and work effectively with managers, supervisors, leads, machine operators, and helpers.
• Read and understand company work orders to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs and projects.

• Maintain the physical ability to remain active throughout a full shift while troubleshooting and repairing ongoing machine and operational issues in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance or technician role.
• Valid Texas Driver License.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Working Environment & Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position may require extended shifts, weekend work, emergency call-ins, or after-hours support based on operational needs.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
