Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for all equipment repairs and replacements.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site repairs or equipment transportation as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to support construction projects or upgrades involving mechanical or HVAC systems.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices across diverse mechanical systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology trends and best practices for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to operate construction tools safely and effectively; experience in construction is a plus.
• Leadership qualities with the capacity to mentor junior team members while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
