Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our pallet repair and manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The successful candidate should have experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment quickly to minimize production downtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pallet repair and production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, electrical components, controls, and other equipment.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining repairs when needed.
• Assist with installation, setup, modification, and improvement of production equipment.
• Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential maintenance issues before breakdowns occur.
• Maintain maintenance records and communicate equipment problems to management.
• Work closely with production personnel to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing, pallet repair, recycling, or production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience maintaining and repairing production equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
• Ability to diagnose problems and determine the appropriate repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment issues.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
