Maintenance Technician

Experienced Maintenance Tech Wanted!

Pay Rate: $22+ per hour (based on experience)

Universal Property Management is adding a Maintenance Technician/Handy Person to its growing team! As one of the few property management groups in the Mount Washington Valley area to offer a dedicated, in-house maintenance department, this role is key to delivering the distinct service difference our clients expect.

Work Environment: In this position, you will be traveling to different property locations within the Mount Washington Valley to perform a variety of repair and maintenance services for our residents and owners- including paint, drywall, lock changes, light plumbing and electrical, deck repair, etc. When not providing services, you will be working remotely to complete any work orders, entering expenses, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Performing scheduled repairs and preventative property maintenance (mainly exterior but some interior work as well
• Create estimates for work to present to associations
• Addressing work orders in a timely manner
• Conducting unit/building inspections to proactively keep properties in order
• Filling out and completing working orders properly utilizing Property Management software
• Collect bids and oversee larger projects as a general contractor
• Communicating effectively with Portfolio Managers and residents

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in residential maintenance.
• Work vehicle and gas card provided after 12 months (personal vehicle required for first 12 months, mileage reimbursement provided)
• Candidate must provide own basic tools
• Compensation based on experience starting at $22.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime and on-call (Monday-Sunday)

Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8-4pm

On call rotation: Every 4-6 weeks (compensated)
