Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install new appliances and HVAC components following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen appliances to minimize downtime.
• Operate company vehicles for maintenance tasks off-site or between locations while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects and provide guidance on equipment repair and upkeep.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills and familiarity with HVAC & appliance technology.
• Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting purposes.
• Mechanical knowledge related to mechanical systems repair, equipment maintenance, and HVAC/R systems.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Skilled in appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance, air conditioning repair, and refrigeration systems.
• Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
• Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and mentorship within the maintenance department.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
