Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance in apartments
• Help with patching & painting jobs
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems to restore optimal operation
• Maintain detailed records, ensuring proper setup and safety compliance of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future planning
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime across facilities
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for all team members

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance or repair roles
• Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., for various repair tasks
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in different maintenance scenarios
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on maintenance activities
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or climb for extended periods during maintenance tasks
• Prior experience in industrial or commercial maintenance is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
