Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including air conditioning units, kitchen appliances, and other specialized equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions to support ongoing operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills across various systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints effectively.
• Experience with HVAC & appliance technology including air conditioning systems (HVAC), HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), and related mechanical systems.
• Skilled in appliance installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or team members about technical issues.
• Knowledge of maintenance operations including repair & operations (MRO) practices within construction or industrial settings.
• Ability to operate construction tools safely; experience with construction projects is a plus.
• Leadership qualities that enable guidance of junior technicians or team members when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
