Maintenance Technician

• Troubleshooting Air compressors, CNC Machines, Basic HVAC, welding equipment etc.

• Machine Adjustments with modern test equipment

• Minor Fabrication of Parts

• Electrical Troubleshooting and Repairs of utility power and machine controls

• Limited PLC Troubleshooting with assistance from engineering

• Preventive Maintenance of utility systems and facility equipment (TPM)

• Housekeeping; conducts work performed in a clean, complete and professional manner.

• Material Handling, fork truck skills, scissor lift skills, pallet jacks

• Maintain good safety practices to known industry standards.

• Offers opinions and suggestions towards the improvement of existing equipment and supplies.

• Perform skilled repair services of mechanical, electrical, building systems, and equipment.

• Highschool Diploma or GED

• Prefer at least 3 plus years of facilities / operations maintenance experience.

• Proficiency in the proper use of power and hand tools.

• Prefer Certificate or license such as HVAC, Electrical or PLC / Electrical Controls

• Position requires good mathematical ability and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime as needed to maintain production

• Must be able to work with little to no supervision

• Day shift work with some overtime as needed

• Being a self-starter as well as a problem-solver are required assets.

• Must be very detail oriented and have strong interpersonal, communication and team-based skills.

• Knowledge in BOCA, NFPA 70E, AFSME is a plus.

• Production/Manufacturing experience preferred

The Maintenance Technician primary responsibility is maintaining production with limited downtime, perform preventive maintenance tasks, repair and maintain facility equipment and facility utility systems to include power distribution and sub-systems, compressed air systems, air handling equipment, support repair and maintenance of CNC, Laser, machining equipment.
