Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC & refrigeration systems, using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes swiftly.
• Repair or replace defective components in appliances, HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and kitchen appliances to restore optimal functionality.
• Install new appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks or equipment deliveries as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts inventory using maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) software.
• Collaborate with team members to lead small projects or assist in construction-related tasks when required, demonstrating leadership qualities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills and mechanical knowledge.
• Hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems (HVAC & HVAC/R), refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Knowledge of HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, and refrigeration technology.
• Familiarity with appliance installation procedures across various types of equipment.
• Experience operating construction tools or performing construction-related maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients alike.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
