Maintenance Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production machines, equipment, and facility systems.
• Conduct routine inspection of machinery and equipment to identify potential problems or abnormalities.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and other equipment-related issues.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities based on the established maintenance schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment conditions.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments regarding equipment concerns and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure that tools, equipment, and spare parts are properly handled, stored, and maintained.
• Follow established safety procedures, GMP, and food safety requirements when performing maintenance work.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the maintenance/workshop area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics.
• Preferably with experience in industrial, manufacturing, or food manufacturing maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment is an advantage.
• With basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment inspection.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Safety-conscious, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule and render overtime when required.
• Willing to work in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
