Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Responsible for managing maintenance spare parts, tools and equipment while providing technical support to the Maintenance Department. The position requires a person with technician experience who is able to identify, understand and manage various mechanical, electrical and maintenance spare parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize all maintenance spare parts, tools, equipment and consumable items.
• Identify and understand the function and application of various mechanical and electrical spare parts.
• Issue spare parts, tools and materials to technicians based on maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of spare parts received, issued and remaining in stock.
• Advise the Maintenance Supervisor or team on the correct spare parts required for repair and maintenance work.
• Assist technicians in identifying suitable replacement parts for damaged or faulty equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization and safety of the maintenance store.
• Record and report damaged, missing, obsolete or slow-moving spare parts.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities when required.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Management.

Requirements

• MinimumSPM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience as a Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Must have good knowledge of mechanical and electrical spare parts.

Pay: From RM1,850.00 per month
