Maintenance Technician

About the role

This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manual machines, production equipment, and tools, as well as general building and facility maintenance. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical problems, attend to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime, and maintain air-conditioning and ventilation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manual machines, production equipment, and tools
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical problems
• Attend to machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Carry out regular inspection, servicing, lubrication, adjustment, and repair of machinery
• Maintain and troubleshoot air-conditioning and ventilation systems
• Perform general building and facility maintenance, including electrical, lighting, plumbing, doors, and other facilities
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when required
• Maintain proper maintenance records, breakdown reports, and servicing schedules
• Monitor maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company SOPs and safety requirements

About you

• Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Certificate / SKM / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Maintenance, or related field
• Hands-on experience in manual machines, air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious
• Willing to work overtime when required
