Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team! Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Conduct repairs involving welding, electrical wiring, or mechanical components to restore equipment functionality promptly.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and ensure seamless production flow.
• Lead small teams during maintenance projects or repairs, supervising tasks to ensure safety standards and quality are met.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Assist with residential painting or other facility beautification projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting with tools such as ohmmeters.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration.
