Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain company facilities and equipment which may involve electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems, machinery, and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on buildings, HVAC units, electrical systems, plumbing, painting, and mechanical components.
• Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems accurately.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment to restore functionality efficiently.
• Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or renovations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are upheld.
• Maintain the building and grounds in a clean and orderly condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair and equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and mechanical principles.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration equipment is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge coupled with construction experience is a plus for handling diverse maintenance tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively using technical manuals and schematics; familiarity with electrical systems is essential.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating repairs and documenting work accurately.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Experience:

• Framing or carpentry: 2 years (Preferred)
