Maintenance Technician

About the role

Vermeer Equipment of WA & NT is seeking a Vermeer Experienced Maintenance Technician to join the WA based team. You will be working on Vermeer HME Plant including Surface Mining & Renewable energy, Horizontal Directional Drills, Vacuum Excavators and Environmental Equipment. This is a permanent Perth-based role with Monday to Friday hours between 8am and 4pm. Some infrequent non-rostered Field Service requirements throughout Northern Territory and NW & Western Australia might be required.

Key responsibilities

• Carrying out plant equipment maintenance and overhaul repairs
• Maintaining hire fleet
• Workshop and Field service support
• Ordering parts from suppliers where necessary
• Assisting in delivering parts, machines, and warehouse duties
• Carrying out mechanical and safety customer equipment appraisals

About you

• Relevant trade tickets
• Experience highly regarded, Vermeer OEM Certified Tech
• Hydraulic mobile plant experience
• Must have valid Australian work rights
• Must hold valid C and MR driver's licence
• Current forklift ticket
• Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A positive attitude
