Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenace Tech to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments. Duties

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Assist with residential painting projects as needed to support facility upgrades or repairs.
• Supervise junior technicians or maintenance staff during specific projects or tasks, providing leadership and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and conduct safety inspections regularly.
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize impact on operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Electrical experience including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and understanding of electrical systems.
• Skilled in welding techniques; residential painting experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software.
• Supervising or leadership experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation.
• Ability to interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and customer service principles related to facility management.
