Maintenance Technician

About the Role

The 691-unit Condominium Association is seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician to support a 10‑building community including 2 clubhouses with a high daily workload.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with leaks, plumbing, drywall repairs, and general building maintenance in large condominium or multifamily properties.

This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role requiring independence, responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair water leaks in units, roofs, and common areas
• Perform drywall patching, finishing, and texturing
• Complete plumbing repairs, including fixtures, drains, and line issues
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and mechanical rooms
• Respond quickly to resident maintenance requests
• Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in safe working order
• Assist with general repairs (painting, doors, lighting, minor electrical)
• Coordinate with the maintenance lead and management for larger projects
• Participate in after-hours emergency rotation with the maintenance lead

Requirements

• Experience working in large condominium or multifamily communities
• Ability to handle heavy workloads and fast-paced environments
• Works well under pressure and during emergencies
• Self-starter: works with minimal supervision and takes full responsibility
• Able to work quickly and does not wait for instructions to address issues
• Strong leak‑detection and plumbing troubleshooting skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• HOA / condominium association experience
• Basic electrical knowledge
• HVAC experience a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/French) a plus

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• After-hours emergency rotation required

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
