Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of residential properties. This position plays a key role in ensuring resident satisfaction by responding to maintenance requests, performing preventive maintenance, and helping maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and other building systems.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, including preparing vacant units for new residents.
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and property amenities as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and management regarding maintenance concerns and updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general maintenance practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.
