Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Personnel:

Excellent opportunity for someone who likes to work independently and has the ability to prioritize work requests and follow up accordingly. Repairs include but are not limited to building and room preventative maintenance, minor plumbing, minor electrical, pool maintenance. This position also requires the completion of daily light custodial duties to maintain building cleanliness.

Essential Functions: Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program. Check work orders daily. Make rounds checking problem areas noted and review safety concerns - repair as needed. Some duties include but are not limited to changing or repair of guest door locks as needed. Maintain vacuum cleaners in working order, refilling water softener tan, periodic maintenance on all equipment in building, trash removal and clean up, maintaining Ice machines, light painting, repair of furniture, electrical, etc. Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area. Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all tools. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces. Pool maintenance including- backwashing filters, maintaining acid and chlorine feed, comply with all state health codes for pool and spa. We will train on pool maintenance- and also provide Certified Pool Operator training. Remove snow and ice from entrances and sidewalk. Assist room attendants in mattress flipping on a quarterly basis Remove all debris from public corridors and empties all ash urns, interior and exterior trash receptacles daily.

Remove debris from parking lot and sweep canopy and entry areas as needed. Check and replace exterior lights. Maintain landscaping of property.

Flexible schedule to include evenings or weekends in emergencies. Follow all state and federal guidelines including OSHA Hazardous communication Training Maintain high level of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness

Education & Experience High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent One Year Experience in Maintenance preferred. Required Valid Driver’s License

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
