About the role
This is a Maintenance Technician position responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out necessary repairs.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs
- Inspect machinery, facilities, and systems to detect faults or hazards
- Repair or replace faulty components and damaged structures
- Maintain records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Implement and follow standard maintenance procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime
About you
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Diploma or equivalent; a certificate in HVAC, Building Maintenance Technology, or a related field is an added advantage
- Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and methods
- Hands-on experience with tools, appliances, and mechanical systems
- Strong manual dexterity and effective problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition
