Maintenance Technician

Muckross House, Farms and Gardens are now recruiting for a Maintenance Person

The role will involve technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality by performing maintenance tasks.

Core Responsibilities

• Inspections: Regularly check buildings, machinery, plumbing, and electrical systems to find issues early.
• Repairs: Fix leaky faucets, broken doors, faulty light fixtures, drywall damage, and minor mechanical problems.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine servicing like lubricating parts, changing filters, and testing safety equipment (such as smoke alarms and fire extinguishers).
• Record Keeping: Log completed repairs, track maintenance schedules, and manage inventory of supplies and tools.
• Assisting in Departments as required: Assisting the various departments with any maintenance related issues and deciding when to enlist outside assistance from electricians, plumbers etc.

Pay: From €16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 39.0 per week
