Maintenance Technician

Technician is responsible for maintaining the functionality and condition of the stores equipment and machinery while following the set health and safety guidelines in line with company standards and manufacturer recommendations.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

· Perform maintenance of electrical systems

· Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary

· Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality

· Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed

· Perform any manual repairs when necessary

· Undertake activities related to correct pest control as per the set standards

· Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned

· Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

· Recognized qualification in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience (Minimum 3 Years) with knowledge of providing repairs on various types of machinery systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

· Experience in electro-mechanical equipment maintenance up to 480v 3 phase.

· Problem-solving and process-oriented mindset

· Operational experience of PLC-based machinery and control systems would be extremely beneficial but are not essential.

Minimum Qualifications/education

· Diploma Holder / Certificate Holder in maintenance of automated machines or mechanical, electrical holder

Minimum experience

· 2 – 3 years of experience in similar role
