Maintenance Technician

Deylen Realty is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! Our ideal candidate will have versatile skills in maintenance procedures and knowledge of basic tools and appliances.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of Deylen properties by managing a safe, attractive, comfortable, and sanitary environment for residents, tenants, guests, visitors and staff.
• Inspects vacated apartments and completes all duties in regard to make-ready/vacant units.
• Inspects exterior and interior of buildings routinely.
• Performs Routine Maintenance
• Informs Director of Maintenance of needed services and repairs.
• Maintains good rapport with current and prospective residents.
• Assists in all types of maintenance, when necessary and as requested.
• Participate in On-call rotations in accordance with scheduling to handle maintenance emergencies from residents and property emergencies.
• Completes work orders in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Above average written and oral communications skills.
• Uses good safety habits at all times.
• Some computer skills. Experience with Appfolio or similar Property Management Software a plus.
• Valid Indiana Driver's License and ability to meet all company insurance requirements to operate a company-owned vehicle.
• Thorough, reliable, responsible, honest, organized, flexible and service-oriented.
• Possesses basic maintenance knowledge, experience and skills of the following:
• Electrical and Appliance Repair
• Plumbing
• Painting
• Groundskeeping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
