Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC & refrigeration systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Install new appliances, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform complex repairs on kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, refrigeration units, and other specialized appliances.
• Operate company vehicles for maintenance tasks off-site or between facilities while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.
• Collaborate with team members to lead small projects or assist in construction-related maintenance tasks as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair.
• Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and appliance installation across commercial or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), construction processes, and equipment upkeep best practices.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or team members.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
• Leadership qualities that enable guidance of junior technicians or team members during maintenance projects.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
