Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced extrusion manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot equipment, preform preventative maintenance, minimize downtime, and help keep our production lines running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
• Preform preventative maintenance on plastic extrusion lines and production equipment.
• Maintain and repair extruders, shredders, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, sensors, motors, contactors, and control panels.
• Preform welding, fabrication and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Identify equipment problems and take action to reduce production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and document repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Work with production and maintenance team members to complete repairs and projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors is preferred.
• Plastic extrusion or plastic manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnose equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to workplace safety are a must.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
