Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, kitchen appliances, and other mechanical devices with precision and efficiency.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, equipment, or parts to various job sites as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system inspections in compliance with operational procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects, improve processes, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
• Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology including air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices across various mechanical systems.
• Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients or team members about repairs or system issues.
• Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and efficiently; experience with company vehicle operation is preferred.
• Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and mentorship when needed.
