Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and friendly Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our condominium association team.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, responsible, organized, and able to communicate professionally with residents, management, vendors, and other staff members. Because this position involves daily interaction with residents, we are looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with the residents in our community.

The Maintenance Technician will assist with the day-to-day upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance of the condominium property while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the property.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect common areas and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, hardware, and general repair work as qualified.
• Maintain building equipment, maintenance areas, and tools in a clean and organized condition.
• Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the property.
• Communicate with management regarding repairs, projects, and property concerns.
• Work professionally with vendors and contractors when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and presentable appearance while working throughout the property.
• Provide courteous and respectful assistance to residents when needed.
• Develop and maintain a friendly, professional relationship with residents while maintaining appropriate workplace boundaries.
• Follow all building rules, safety procedures, and management instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, handyman, building maintenance, or similar experience preferred.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to speak and communicate clearly and professionally with residents, management, staff, and vendors.
• Must have a friendly and customer-service-oriented personality.
• Must be respectful and professional when working inside or around residents' homes.
• Ability to identify maintenance problems and communicate them to management.
• Basic knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs preferred.
• Must be comfortable performing physical work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working throughout the property.
• Must maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Required Uniform

Employees are expected to arrive to work clean and professionally dressed in the required uniform:

• White polo shirt
• Beige/tan long pants
• Clean, comfortable work shoes

The right candidate will be someone residents feel comfortable approaching and someone management can depend on to represent the Association professionally.

Full-time position.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
