Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct appliance repairs and installations, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment, adhering to safety standards.
• Operate company vehicles to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks across multiple sites.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to support operational efficiency.
• Assist with construction projects or upgrades related to mechanical systems or facility infrastructure when required.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and responding promptly to maintenance requests.

Skills

• Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and mechanical systems repair.
• Strong knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures for complex equipment.
• Skilled in HVAC system repair, air conditioning maintenance, refrigeration servicing, and kitchen equipment upkeep.
• Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and efficiently; experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices preferred.
• Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure enhances your ability to handle diverse maintenance projects.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with leadership qualities to guide team efforts when necessary.
• Customer service oriented mindset with clear communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
