Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and staff. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital part in maintaining the hotel's standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures, or appliances to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces or special functions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules that minimize disruption.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
• Relevant certifications or licenses related to electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
