Maintenance Technician

Mackie Search has partnered with a Plastics Manufacturer with locations in 7 states to lead a search for multiple Maintenance Tech roles.

Maintenance Tech (job description):

· Currently have 4 Injection Molding Maintenance Tech roles available in the North Las Vegas Nevada area in a NEW State of the Art Plant.

· This position must have the ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Injection Molding Machines, ancillary equipment such as chillers and air compressors, and general facility maintenance.

· The maintenance technician will act as an integral member of the production team and will share direct responsibility for downtime and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred.
• Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with injection molding machines and ancillary equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as the ability to repair and maintain them.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills for equipment diagnostics and maintenance record-keeping.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Hours:

· 6pm to 6am

· 2-2-3-3 Schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off – every other weekend)

Requirements

• Perform adjustments, tuning activities, and machine startups as required to maintain optimal production efficiency.
• Analyze and address repetitive disturbances to minimize machine and production disruptions.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
