Maintenance Technician

Guide Property Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who is eager to learn, grow and succeed with us. This position will be responsible for handling resident work orders, unit turns, and vendor coordination for a portfolio of Multi-Family properties in Boise. This role will share responsibility for 196 units with another tech.

We have an opening for this role and are looking to hire the right candidate as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform efficient and detailed turnovers.
• Estimate repair time and extent of repairs accurately.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances.
• Oversee work performed by external contractors when needed.
• Maintain property grounds when necessary.
• Maintain accurate reporting using Appfolio
• Clear and consistent communication with tenants and Managers

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair is preferable.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Must be able to use app-based reporting software (Appfolio)
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Must have reliable transportation, active Drivers' License and Insurance, and your own set of basic tools.
