Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across various systems. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters
• Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to restore or enhance equipment and structural components
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to accurately diagnose problems
• Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and ensure proper functioning of manufacturing equipment
• Execute residential painting tasks for facility upgrades or repairs to maintain a professional appearance
• Supervise maintenance team members or contractors during repair projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks
• Support facilities maintenance activities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical upgrades, and general repairs
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding and basic carpentry skills
• Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits, wiring, and working with schematics; familiarity with PLCs is highly desirable
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing
• Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams or projects is preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration
• Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is a plus
• Ability to perform residential painting tasks when required for facility upkeep
• Demonstrated customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Valid certifications in electrical work or welding are advantageous

Pay: $16.90 - $19.00 per hour
