Description

The Senior Maintenance Technician will maintain and troubleshoot the critical utility systems supporting manufacturing, warehousing and offices at a modern, highly automated pharmaceutical manufacturing site in the Netherlands. This is a hands-on, fully on-site role (40 hours, Monday to Friday) covering HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, chilled water, boilers and building automation, with a shared on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on utility systems and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical and control-related issues.
• Coordinate with colleagues, contractors and vendors to resolve technical challenges.
• Support reliability improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in the on-call rotation supporting critical utility systems.

Essential Requirements

• MBO-level education or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in maintenance, utilities, facilities or industrial installations.
• Hands-on experience with systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, chilled water, boilers or process utilities.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work 5 days on site and join the on-call rotation.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
• Knowledge of SAP PM or another CMMS platform.
• Experience with building automation systems (BMS/BAS).
• Dutch language skills.

Salary: around €64K, including 13th month and 8% holiday allowance, plus on-call allowance.
