Maintenance Technician

An excellent opportunity for a qualified Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting and performance of production machinery and equipment. The role will focus on minimising downtime, improving equipment reliability and supporting efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues to minimise downtime.
• Adjust machine and process settings to maintain product quality.
• Support the introduction, testing and validation of new tooling.
• Maintain equipment and associated air, water and material supply systems.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes and equipment reliability improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Recognised Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter qualification or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment desirable.
• Injection moulding experience advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel internationally to provide technical support when required.
