Role Description The Maintenance Technician role at SolvChem, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Pearland, TX. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, systems, and facilities to support safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and documenting maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. The Maintenance Technician will conduct preventive maintenance, support equipment installations and upgrades, and collaborate with operations and safety teams to minimize downtime. The role may also involve responding to urgent maintenance calls, assisting with parts inventory, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives for plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair skills for industrial and facility systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and process issues in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, including scheduling, inspection, and documentation.
• Background in industrial maintenance, preferably in chemical, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Commitment to working safely, with understanding of industrial safety standards and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Pearland, TX, including occasional overtime or shift flexibility as needed.
