Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at MRA Group, you'll play a key role in ensuring our properties are safe, functional, and welcoming. You'll handle routine and preventative maintenance tasks, tackling everything from plumbing and electrical to HVAC and carpentry. Your expertise will keep our buildings in top shape, and you'll work with a team committed to excellence. Compensation:

$24 - $26 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily trash pickup; ensure grounds are kept neat and litter-free.
• General cleaning of common areas throughout.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and make repairs as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests daily and complete the work within 24 hours when possible.
• Comply with OSHA regulations.
• Perform day-to-day operations as directed.
• Participate in the Emergency On-Call rotation.
• Maintain a courteous, professional manner with all clients, residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Follow established company policies.
• Meet the necessary deadlines for an annual seasonal refurbishing project consisting of apartment turnovers.
• Work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Required to pass a background check.
• Must have general knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC diagnosis, screen replacement, appliance repair, roofing inspections, gutter repair, general cleaning, tape measure, hand tools, small-engine outdoor equipment, ladders, attic crawl spaces, snow/ice management, computers, iPad, smartphone, Word, and Excel.
