Maintenance Technician

We are a small foundry in need a skilled a safety-focused Maintenance Technician to join our foundry team. You will keep our heavy equipment, furnaces, molding lines, and facility systems running smoothly. Your work directly prevents costly downtime in a fast-paced production environment.

Core responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance - Run routine checks and service on foundry machines.
• Mechanical Repairs - Fix or swap out pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and conveyors.
• Troubleshooting - Find the root causes of mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Fluid Power - Maintain and repair complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Electrical Work - Diagnose sensors, wiring, control panels, and basic PLC systems.
• Shop Upkeep - Keep tools clean, organized and stocked safely.
• Safety First - Follow strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Basic knowledge of PLCs, schematics, and hand tools.
• Experience - High School Diploma plus min (4) years of hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. Foundry background is a major plus but does not exempt you from the job.
• Technical Skills - Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting. Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Welding/Fabrication - Basic welding or cutting torch skills are preferred.
• Work Ethic - A dependable team player who can lift up to 75 lbs. and work in high heat and loud environments while wearing proper PPE. You will work closely with the Plant Manager and Foundry supervisors.
