Department: Maintenance 3rd Shift

Report to Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Perform Maintenance task as assigned to ensure equipment and infrastructure are functioning correctly

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all safety procedures including lock out/ tag out

Candidates must be self-motivated, willing to work flexible hours, this position is considered full time with benefits, pay will be determined by experience.

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.

• Primary duties include providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting, and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.
• Suggest and recommend any changes to maintain and upgrade machinery
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance department
• Other assigned tasks as needed

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Equipment maintained in good working order
• Repair work is done quickly, safely, and efficiently
• All safety procedures are followed

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Read, write (English), understand and follow instructions
• Applicants must have a basic working knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical, welding, pipe-fitting and fabrication.
• An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls, and power transmission systems. A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Some electrical knowledge desired
• Must be able to work independently

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow safety procedures
• Wear required personal protective equipment
• Hearing protection of 29 NRR or greater
• Steel toe shoes
• Safety glasses
• Appropriate equipment needed for various tasks (harness, hard hat, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
