Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and your knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Repair or replace faulty components through welding, electrical work, or mechanical adjustments to minimize operational disruptions.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control automated processes effectively.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to accurately execute repairs and modifications.
• Supervise maintenance activities, coordinate with team members, and provide guidance on technical tasks to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts inventory for accountability and continuous improvement.

Skills

• Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems confidently.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing machinery operation, repair techniques, and mechanical system components.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for accurate diagnostics.
• Skilled in welding techniques for fabrication or repair tasks requiring metalwork expertise.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and adjustments.
• Excellent supervisory skills with a proven track record of leading maintenance teams or projects effectively.
• Customer service orientation with clear communication skills in English to collaborate across departments.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities that motivate teams, prioritize safety protocols, and foster a proactive maintenance culture.
