Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration systems, and kitchen equipment across our facilities. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and appliance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Install new appliances, HVAC systems, and mechanical components following schematics and technical specifications.
• Conduct repairs on various equipment including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, kitchen appliances, and mechanical systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose problems accurately.
• Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks that require transportation of equipment or parts.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections conducted to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
• Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and appliance installation/maintenance in commercial or industrial settings.
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction experience or equipment repair is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools safely and effectively; experience with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles required.
• Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and mentorship within the maintenance department are preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
