Maintenance Technician

Location: Metro Atlanta, GA

Encore Management is seeking a proactive, dependable Maintenance Technician with residential

maintenance experience to support our communities. We’re looking for someone who takes pride

in quality repairs, communicates clearly, documents their work, and follows through on tasks until

completion.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve common plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general home maintenance

issues.

• Assist with preparing vacant homes for new residents, including painting, drywall repairs, and other

make-ready tasks.

• Complete assigned work orders promptly and communicate any delays or additional support needed.

• Use a smartphone or computer to update work orders, upload photos, and document repairs,

materials used, and completion status.

• Accurately record work hours and business mileage, and submit required records and purchase

receipts.

• Proactively identify and report maintenance needs and safety concerns.

• Communicate professionally with residents, the maintenance coordinator, and team leadership, and

follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous residential or property maintenance experience and familiarity with common maintenance

tools.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot and handle common plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.

• A proactive approach to work, with consistent follow-through and minimal reminders.

• Strong accountability, attention to quality, and ownership of assigned tasks.

• Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests.

• Ability to use a smartphone, basic computer applications, and a work order system, with a willingness

to learn new tools.

• Punctuality, reliability, teamwork, and willingness to accept and apply feedback.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between communities.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
