ITW Medical is comprised of two highly-respected medical product brands – Coeur and Filtertek – supplying medical devices and components to global medical device brands. Filtertek manufactures molded filtration and flow control components. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable diagnostic imaging consumables.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all equipment required for the processes related to automation and molding

· Work closely with setup technicians and operators to ensure proper operation of equipment

· Responsible for assigned preventive maintenance tasks

· Maintenance of building and grounds as directed

· Determine the root cause of known technical issues and implement corrective actions

· Manage spare parts inventory.

· Document work performed in the appropriate format according to the quality system

· Improve efficiency while ensuring quality standards, individually as and part of a team

· Assist Quality with finding and implementing corrective actions from customer rejections

· Communicate with other shifts, operators, and technicians to give and receive updates on equipment status

· Ability to work in high pressure environment and accommodate occasional flexible schedule when required

· Ability to work with Water systems, compressors, vacuum pumps and electricity distribution systems.

· Support any EH&S issues as they appear.

· Capable or working on your own or in a team depending on the task

· Ability to use computer systems as needed.

Qualifications

· Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Environment (molding/assembly experience an advantage)

· Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics or electric systems

· Understand principles of working systems- conveyors, injection molding and Pick and place automations

· Familiarity with automated assembly and sonic welding preferred

· Able to read and interpret schematic electrical and hydraulic systems preferrable

· Willingness/ability to attend formal training courses as required

· Must possess good communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

· This position requires some physical movement around the facility including standing for long periods of time between breaks during the workday.

· Must be able to lift components weighting up to 30 lbs. frequently.

· Must be able to use hands and fingers to manipulate components for assembly.

· Individuals must be able to reach with arms extended and/or overhead, bend, stoop, stretch and similar activities.

· Specific vision abilities are required such as close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

· Must be able to safely operate required equipment for performing job functions.

· Ability to work and concentrate in high pressure environment and accommodate occasional flexible schedule when required

Pay: €45,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
