Robertsdale Village Apartments is looking for reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining our beautiful apartment community in Robertsdale, AL.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping our property in excellent condition. This is a full-time position offering stable hours and the opportunity to make a real difference in our residents’ living environment.

Schedule

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• Rotation on-call for maintenance emergencies (evenings and weekends as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the apartment community
• Troubleshoot and repair issues involving HVAC systems, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing
• Replace and install water heaters
• Change out plugs, switches, and other electrical components
• Complete work orders efficiently and to high standards
• Complete Unit Turns in a timely manner for new move ins
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies on a rotating on-call basis
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Preferred Skills & Experience

While not all skills are required, the ideal candidate will have experience or working knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

• HVAC systems
• Electrical work (including changing plugs and switches)
• Carpentry
• Plumbing - (replacing faucets, toilets, hot water heaters)

We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects and work in various conditions (indoor/outdoor)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Background check required for this position
