Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and kitchen equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems while adhering to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct repairs on air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment between sites as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system inspections in accordance with operational procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to address urgent repairs promptly and assist in construction or renovation projects when required.

Skills

• Extensive experience with appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration maintenance, and kitchen equipment servicing.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams confidently.
• Proven service technician experience with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology combined with experience in maintenance, repair & operations (MRO).
• Skilled in equipment repair and maintenance across various mechanical systems; construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
