Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations. This role requires a proactive approach to prevent downtime and ensure safety standards are met. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital part in supporting the overall efficiency and safety of our operations.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs promptly to minimize operational disruptions
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks
• Operate Ski Steer and Kabota for snow removal
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory
• Assist in installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and activities

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Prior experience in industrial or facility maintenance is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work
• Relevant certifications or technical training related to maintenance or mechanics are a plus

Pay: $19.25-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
