Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. Your expertise in appliance repair, HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems will be vital to keeping our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC & appliance technology, including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen equipment.
• Install, service, and maintain various appliances and mechanical systems across multiple facilities.
• Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems efficiently.
• Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections in accordance with operational standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and ensure safety compliance across all work sites.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
• Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience with HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and HVAC & appliance technology.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance and appliance installation is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Construction experience or familiarity with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.14 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
