Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
• Repair or replace HVAC components such as air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Conduct appliance repair and installation tasks for various commercial appliances including refrigeration units and kitchen equipment.
• Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at different locations; maintain accurate records of service activities.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repair logs, and inventory of parts and tools.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and mechanical systems repair.
• Proven experience as a service technician with strong troubleshooting skills using schematics and technical manuals.
• Ability to perform appliance installation and kitchen equipment maintenance efficiently.
• Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures across diverse mechanical systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate equipment repair tools safely.
• Leadership qualities that enable guidance of team members during complex repairs or projects.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
