Forklift Service Technicians – Multiple Experience Levels

Location: Fort Smith, AR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Pay: Based on experience

We are hiring dependable, mechanically inclined technicians at multiple experience levels to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and material handling equipment.

Positions Available

1. PM Technician – Entry Level (0–2 Years)

Great opportunity for someone looking to grow their mechanical skills while working alongside experienced technicians.

• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Service batteries, tires, fluids, and filters
• Complete basic adjustments and minor repairs
• Document maintenance and inspection findings
• Assist senior technicians with repairs and service calls

2. Service Technician – Intermediate Level

For technicians who can handle routine maintenance and common repairs with limited supervision.

• Perform preventative maintenance independently
• Repair brakes, hydraulic leaks, and mast components
• Complete basic electrical troubleshooting
• Diagnose and repair common equipment issues
• Handle routine service calls independently

3. Road Technician – Experienced (4–7 Years)

For experienced technicians comfortable working independently at customer locations.

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and CAN bus systems
• Complete advanced repairs and warranty work
• Handle field service calls independently
• Communicate repair needs and recommendations to customers

4. Senior Road Technician – Advanced Level

For highly experienced technicians with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures
• Troubleshoot difficult or recurring equipment problems
• Handle escalated service calls and advanced repairs
• Provide technical support and mentor junior technicians
• Assist with technician training and OEM-related troubleshooting
• Experience with Hyundai equipment is a plus

General Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
• Must have your own tools
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Dependable, safety-focused, and willing to learn
• Ability to follow OSHA, company, and manufacturer safety requirements

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
