Maintenance Technician

University Village Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our 155-unit studio living property located off Gibson and University. This is a full-time (40 hours a week) position; Schedule is Monday through Friday. On-call every other weekend.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property, as well as preparing vacant units for new occupants. Key duties include maintaining an inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring necessary tools are available, and reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.

In this role, the Maintenance Technician will need to maintain a professional appearance and attitude and be available for on-call work. Responsibilities also include securing the maintenance shops at the end of each workday, removing snow and ice as necessary, handling lockouts due to evictions, and responding to service requests within 24 hours. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the pool during the pool season and ensuring the upkeep of the apartment grounds.
